Shane head out west to a yard dog trial so we decided to go and stare at a different four walls with our first motel stay. It was a three hour drive out there, so it's good practice for Toby. He's a good traveller, but alas he does tend to get bored. He also operates on two hourly feeds while we're at home... he's up for about an hour, then sleeps for about an hour (one sleep cycle actually, so 40 minutes to be more precise!!).
We had two nights in the motel. Thankfully, he was still little enough to go back into his travel bassinet which is just that bit easier to cart around. We had big plans of getting out and exploring the town with the pram... until the rain started coming down at 6am and continued until 3pm!
I'm happy to report though that Toby was a super little man, and it gave mum a bit of a chance to put her legs up without looking at all of the housework that needs doing!!

Ands Shane's result? That's the winner of the maiden trial, Davey, with him, and Spider, the red dog beside him (top dog at home) came second in his open trial...
